  1. 1

    Chapter 1

    The currency market

    • What the Currency Market Is 7 min

Currencies always trade in pairs, and the price tells you how much of one buys the other.

    • What Is Legal in India 8 min

Indians may trade only rupee-linked currency pairs on recognised exchanges. Overseas forex apps are not allowed.

  2. 2

    Chapter 2

    Quotes and leverage

Bid, ask, pip and lot are the four words you need to read any currency quote and know what a move is worth.

    • Leverage and Margin 7 min

Leverage lets a small deposit control a large position. It magnifies losses exactly as much as gains.

  3. 3

    Chapter 3

    Drivers and dangers

    • What Moves a Currency 6 min

Interest rates, inflation, trade flows, central-bank action and fear move currencies, often in ways that are hard to time.

    • How Forex Scams Work 7 min

Forex scams follow a script: a group, an overseas app, fake profits, then fees to withdraw.
