How does the scam and tip checker work?
It reads the message you paste and compares it with a fixed list of warning signs seen in Indian market scams: guaranteed returns, returns that are too high, pressure to act now, buy or sell calls from unnamed senders, private group links, requests to pay first, account handling, apps outside the official stores, fees to withdraw and inside-information claims. It then shows the exact words that matched and explains each sign.
Is my message stored or sent anywhere?
No. The check runs inside your browser. The text you paste is not sent to PaisaTrade or to anyone else, and it is gone when you close or clear the page.
If no warning sign is found, is the message safe?
No. The checker only knows a fixed list of patterns, and scams change their wording. A clean result means none of the known signs were found. Still verify who the sender is and never pay or share an OTP because of a message.
Does this tell me whether to buy or sell a share?
No. PaisaTrade is an education platform and is not SEBI registered. The checker looks at how a message is written, not at whether a share is good or bad.
What should I do if I already paid money?
Call the national cybercrime helpline 1930 as early as you can, report at cybercrime.gov.in, and tell your bank at once. Do not pay any further fee to release or recover the money.
The checker is an educational aid. It reports warning signs in the wording of a message; it does not confirm that any person or company is genuine or fraudulent, and a clean result is not a safety check. PaisaTrade is not a stock broker and not a SEBI-registered investment adviser or research analyst.
