Stock market index kya hota hai?

Index chune hue stocks ke ek basket ke combined price movement ko track karta hai, aur ek hi number mein batata hai ki market ka wo hissa kaisa chal raha hai.

Zyadatar Indian indices har stock ko uske free-float market capitalisation ke hisaab se weight dete hain, isliye badi companies index ko zyada move karti hain.

Indices broad market (Nifty 50, Sensex), sectors (Nifty IT, Nifty Bank) aur themes ke liye hote hain. Inhe mutual funds ko benchmark karne ke liye bhi use kiya jaata hai.

Index fund aur ETF kya hote hain?Index fund aur ETF stock chunne ke bajaye Nifty 50 jaise kisi index ko seedha copy karte hain. ETF exchange par share ki tarah trade hote hain.
Free float kya hota hai?Free float company ke shares ka wo hissa hai jo public trading ke liye available hai, promoter aur dusri locked-in holdings ko chhodkar.
