Market cap kya hota hai?

Market capitalisation company ki total market value hai: share price ko outstanding shares ki sankhya se multiply karke nikalta hai.
SEBI average market cap ke hisaab se top 100 listed companies ko large cap, rank 101–250 ko mid cap aur baaki ko small cap maanta hai. AMFI ye lists har chhe mahine mein publish karta hai.
Market cap size batata hai, value nahi. Ek badi company bhi apni earnings ke mukable mehngi ya sasti ho sakti hai.

Jis company ke 100 crore shares ₹250 par trade ho rahe hain, uska market cap ₹25,000 crore hai.
